Day 1 The magic of Hungarian wine

Did you know that Hungary accounts for 22 wineyards? After long years of producing quantity of wines aimed at exporting, Hungary now grows as an innovative and wine expert country with high quality wines being created. Innovation has arrived even to delivery.

In this workshop we work with one of the most successful Hungerian startups, which delivers wines on bikes, contributing to the environment protection and allowing Hungarians to enjoy wines at home. During summertime the workshops happen walking on the street and learning about what we see and taste.

Start getting the feel and taste of Hungarian wines with Wine&Go. The owners of this small wine shop offer their long experience, own taste, selection and stories, a part of their lives really. Get ready to hear personal stories on wines and Hungarian wine makers, learn and experience unique and rare Hungarian grape varieties and enjoy some really interesting combinations of tapas.

Day 2 Sway to the Danube taste

Discover Budapest while having a regional gourmet wine dinner on a boat floating with the light. Enjoy a 5 course dinner with wine tasting, and spend your evening with the best views of Budapest. Experience the unique Pannonia gastro-boat with its elegant vintage style, and the best gourmet slow food offer with exceptional wines of the country.

Day 3 Culture through food

Looking for something special that's hard to find in a restaurant? Are you in pursuit of the original taste? Taste the real Hungary in a different way, join one of the ongoing local gastronomy events.

Borganika is a friendly gathering happening in Budapest since 2016.Zita and Gábor, your hosts for the night became friends at the university and soon they discovered that gastronomy and the world of wines were a common passion. First they were only cooking and tasting for family then their friends and nowadays for more locals who want to join.

They are both professional chefs who will prepare your meal while explaining you the ingredients, the recipes, the traditions and origins of the dishes and Hungarian cuisine overall. Take it easy, watch or help the preparation of the meal as you wish, and enjoy the spectacular Hungarian wines,the company and of course, your real Hungarian dinner. Being part of Borganika is being really close to the Hungarian culture, are you going to miss it?

Day 4 Hidden treasures of Budapest

Budapest is full of cozy little places for hearty breakfast so our day starts getting energy in one of them. Afterwards we let ourselves go with our official tour guide to get to know the contemporary and funky side of Budapest, visiting the most representative places and monuments. From there, we go into the classics and architectural beauty, visiting places and cafés with more than 260 years of history. We get into the most beautiful coffee houses of Europe and have a coffee and taste some delicious Hungarian specialties: Somló Sponge cake, Dobos cake, "Rákóczi" style cottage cheese cake or Strudel selection. You won't regret it!

Afterwards we take a walk to one of Europe's greatest markets in Budapest's, the 19th-century Central Market Hall, and take a stroll up to the Castle to enjoy some amazing views of Budapest from Halászbástya.

  • Before your arrival we will contact you via email to inform you about pick up times, and to organise the exact place you choose to be picked up.
  • If you need to modify or cancel your booking, please contact us. If you contract your experience with Cancellation Insurance, we will reimburse all your money immediately. If you book with no insurance, we will need to see if there is a chance to modify the dates of your experience (it depends if it happens on different days or if it is a one-time experience). In any case, in this second case where the insurance is not contracted, the money will not be reimbursed.
